Suzanne Gazda, M.D.
Throughout her extensive medical career, Dr. Suzanne Gazda has combined a dedication to outstanding care with an authentic commitment to patients as people first. From this desire to identify ways to treat illness by achieving true wellness came Gazda Integrative Neurology, giving more patients the most individualized solutions specific to their health needs. Dr. Gazda's pursuit of compassionate service represents a lifetime of experiences, beginning at the University of Texas Health Science Center to the founding of the Neurology Institute of San Antonio (NISA) and to her work in comprehensive integrative medicine. Drawing too upon her specialized efforts in multiple sclerosis treatment and in clinical research, Dr. Gazda has a truly diverse perspective in treating a myriad of neurological disorders. In addition to her active participation in numerous professional associations, Dr. Gazda was appointed in April 2020 by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the State’s 14-member Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome Advisory Council to advise the commission and the legislature on research, diagnosis, treatment, and related educational efforts. |
R. Braden Neiman, M.D.
R. Braden Neiman, M.D. is a board-certified neurologist who has recently joined the Neurology Institute of San Antonio. Dr. Neiman has experience in both clinical neurological disorders as well as neurological research. Dr. Neiman received his neurology training at prestigious Yale University. Among his mentors was Dr. Ian McDonald, one of the world’s most renowned multiple sclerosis (MS) specialists. He is particularly interested in the field of MS research as well as other neurodegenerative disorders of the brain. |
Nanette Sanders, Vice President
Upon graduation from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management and Marketing, Nanette provided office management oversight for a prominent obstetrics and gynecology practice with responsibility for clinic operations, billing, collections and physician contract negotiations. She then joined PCA Health Plans of Texas in the marketing department for two years prior to being named Director of Provider Relations for the Aetna Health Plan of Texas. Nanette's responsibilities included contracting with physicians, hospitals and ancillary providers along with managing a large team dedicated to all aspects of provider relations and education. It was in this role that she gained her expertise in infusion therapy providers. Nanette added to her breadth of experience when she joined the contracting team for Humana, Inc., responsible for activities relevant to Large Group, Ancillary and Hospital Providers. Her focus on negotiating with infusion therapy companies and strong operations management experience ultimately led her to join VISTA Infusions in 2008 where she now oversees the day-to-day company operations. In this role, Nanette defines and implements operations strategies, process and policies and manages P&L activities to ensure efficiency as it relates to payer performance, care management and billing/collection to meet both current and future objectives. All of Nanette’s efforts contribute to the effectiveness of ambulatory infusion center practices as it also supports the successful delivery of services and maintenance of high quality standards for the benefit of patients and their families. |
Etta Anderson, RN, IgCN. Nurse Manager
With over 26 years of experience in Infusion Therapy, Etta brings many valuable assets to the VISTA team. Etta received her RN in Nursing from Baptist Health Systems School of Health Professions. Over her distinguished career, Etta has cared for patients in the hospital, home, and Ambulatory Infusion Center settings . She is also PICC line certified. When Etta is not busy taking excellent care of our infusion patients, she enjoys spending time with her two boys. |
Jill Trevino, Director of New Business Development
Jill graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Management. She has a diverse background which includes 8 years of management experience in the aviation industry, as well as customer service and sales experience in the healthcare industry. She has developed and maintained key relationships with physicians, hospital and insurance based case managers and many other healthcare providers, all in an effort to promote clinical excellence and customer satisfaction. |
Lisa Vargas, RN, BSN, CRNI, Nurse Manager
After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UTHSCA in San Antonio, Lisa went on to get PICC line certified. She has worked at a local hospital in the transplant and cardiac unit prior to joining Corinthian's clinicians. In Vista's infusion suite, she coordinates patient care including initial patient assessments, clinical intervention and on-going coordination of care with pharmacy and the physician. She performs follow up documentation on the Vista infusion patients as well. |
Allison Ransom, Chief People Officer
Allison graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management and a certificate in International Business. While attending A&M she participated in a study abroad program in Italy and an internship in Sydney, Australia. After graduation Allison worked in the world of corporate HR for several years. Following a move to San Antonio in 2003, Allison launched her own personalized stationary business. She used her business skills and creative talents to build the business from the ground up by building a relationship with her clients through direct sales, internet sales, and word of mouth. Allison has been married to her husband, David for sixteen years and they have three very busy daughters. In her spare time, Allison enjoys camping with her family, exercising, traveling, and volunteering. |
Larry Sierra, RN, BSN, Alternate Site Nurse Manager
After spending 4 years in the U.S. Army as an Army Medic, Larry graduated from Central Texas College in Killeen, TX. He spent 10 years as a staff nurse, in many clinical settings including: oncology, med/surgical units & recently on IV therapy team. He coordinates incoming patients care from the office & local hospitals. Initial assessments, teaching & monitoring patients on antibiotic therapy is conducted weekly. Patients care is managed from the start of therapy until completed. |
